When a person dies, their most beloved objects are commonly given on to close friends and family members. It could be a simple clock passed on from a grandmother in a living room that fulfills a certain role within a family, either because of the stories they carry or the memories we want to keep. The unspoken rules and boundaries that these material objects carry led me on a search within my own family.
